Step 1: Instructions

Explore one or more of the augmented reality stations. Some points to keep in mind:

Divide up into appropriately sized groups, no smaller than two
Make sure to watch the video tutorial associated
Explore any examples available below
Share your reflections in the Padlet provided
Try loading the app(s) on your device but be aware that Conference WiFi may be overwhelmed

Here are some of the apps (in alpha order) you'll be exploring. Some may work on one device, but not another. Feel free to explore and have fun.

Step 3: Explore AR App(s)

Station 1: Metaverse

Experiences are built in Metaverse Studio by arranging components on a “Storyboard” and linking them together. Hundreds of components can be combined to create almost anything. Learn more about interactive stories.

Experiences are instantly viewable on iPhone, iPad, Androids, or Chromebooks using the free Metaverse App.

Station 2: Quiver Vision

Use the Quiver Apps and let 3D augmented reality take your coloring to the next level. You can get free coloring sheets online at the Quiver website (free for education but also special pricing available).

Station 3: Blippar

"BlippBuilder is Blippar's augmented reality platform where you can create one of a kind augmented experiences. I started experimenting on creating augmented educational 360° experiences. I took a picture of the Great Pyramid and integrated some facts. I've even included a map of Egypt," says Katie Ann Wilson.

Station 4: LifeLiqe

Corinth Classroom on Lifeliqe is customized for K-12 STEM curricula and includes 1,000 interactive 3D models which are proved to increase engagement in learning.

Data from usage of Corinth Classroom in more than 100 countries worldwide, as well as recent studies, show that students are able to understand better and retain more knowledge when using 3D learning materials.
